GMV is committed to remodeling homes, building residential homes, estate maintenance, and light commercial work. In addition, we specialize in custom cabinetry by utilizing a variety of traditional and contemporary materials to add a personal touch to your place and to enhance the value in your home.
German Vergara
German Vergara, founder of GMV Constructions, originally went to school in Mexico; he earned a journalism degree and a law degree—a path that revealed the value of lifelong education. Having moved to Redmond, Washington, German immersed himself in construction training and construction trade textbooks with the help of DLH Inc. He was gifted with construction trade skills, but his skills were not unearthed until joining DLH Inc. in 2002 and Lawton Builders in 2007.
Although German has high ethical standards, due to being raised in a family of sixteen, and is extremely detail oriented, a trait passed on by his Papa Chema, many clients and subcontractors were not aware of his signature characteristics until they collaborated with him on high-end custom remodels, new home construction, and light commercial work. As time passed, German shared his dream of being a construction business owner by the age of 40 with his wife, Paige, and children: Isabella, Trino, and Chemita; they encouraged him everyday to pursue his dream.
Through determination and passion, German started his construction business, GMV Construction; he gives credit to his family, friends, and community for GMV’s success. From the people who are connected with German—“he has a reputation of high standards professionally and personally.” Currently, he continues to strive for excellence while maintaining humble relationships with his community, clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
